96th Annual Holiday Concert

2022's Winter Concert was...Joy To The World! We performed songs of the holiday season at the Bushnell (Mortensen Hall) on December 15, 2022 at 7:30 pm. We were led once again by our esteemed musical director Ken Ferris and pianist Stacey Cahoon. Our special guests for this performance were the Bristol Brass and Wind and the Bristol Chorale. This concert continued the tradition of being free to the public with a food donation to the Chrysalis Center, our partner in supporting the needs of the Hartford community.

Festival of Trees & Traditions at the Wadsworth Atheneum

We will join the Wadsworth Atheneum’s 48th annual holiday tradition of decorating and displaying holiday trees and wreaths in the galleries throughout the festival week from December 1-11, 2022. We will perform a selection of songs from our concert songbook on 12/1 at 1:30 pm, so come for an early afternoon of holiday music. Admission is free for Travelers employees (Travelers ID required).

  • At least 2,200 people celebrated the "Musical Moods of the Holidays" with the Chorale at our 88th Winter Concert. We collected 3,000 pounds (92 boxes) of non-parishable food on behalf of local food banks.

  • 2,000 people were entertained and 3,600 pounds of non-perishable food were collected for donation to the Cathedral of Saint Joseph Food Pantry in Hartford. The Pantry experiences its greatest demand during the holiday season and our concert donations will reportedly keep their shelves stocked through the end of the year.
